:At the Crickets Playgroup we take children from 2 years until they start big school. Please contact us to discuss you and your child's requirements.
We open for 5 morning sessions a week:
Monday - Friday 9:15am - 12:15pm
We are now also offering a lunch time session until 1:15pm Monday to Friday.
You can choose for your child to do the 3 hour session until 12:15 or stay with us for the extra hour for lunch.
Children over 3 years are eligible for up to 15 hours per week free funding which starts from the term after their 3rd birthday.
We pride ourselves in working closely with parents to ensure we provide the best care appropriate to their child and are happy to discuss any specific needs you may have. We have experience with working with children with a variety of special educational needs, please see the link below for our local offer detailing the special needs provision we can provide.
We are a committee run playgroup and all parents are invited to join the committee should they wish. The committee meets on average once a term and allows parents to get to know staff better and have a say in some of the day to day aspects of playgroup.
During the year we hold a number of events that parents are invited to including an Autumn Treasure Hunt, Sports Day and a very popular Mothers Day Tea. These events are a great way to get to talk to staff about your child and also meet with other parents.
